TfL consults on increased fines for London’s red routes

Transport for London (TfL) has invited people to comment on proposals that aim to boost safety and cut congestion on London's network of red routes, by increasing the maximum penalty charge notice (PCN) for contraventions of the rules from £130 to £160.  Fines would also be reduced to £80 if paid within 14 days.
