The European Parliament has given its support to proposed legislation, which is intended to improve drivers’ working conditions, set clear rules on the posting of drivers to other Member States and update provisions on access to the haulage market.
The European Green Deal, which is currently being debated by the European Parliament and EU Member States, includes a proposal to develop stricter emissions standards for all petrol and diesel cars, vans, lorries and buses.
