Fifty-seven social landlords across Great Britain have been awarded a share of £5 million to get more renewable heating into the homes of tenants, Energy and Climate Change Minister Greg Barker has announced.
As from 1 April 2013, Natural Resources Wales brought together the work of the Countryside Council for Wales, Environment Agency Wales and Forestry Commission Wales, as well as some functions of the Welsh Government.

The Government is planning to consult on a new Code of Practice for the statutory guidance for the duty of care (ISBN 011753210X) in late 2013. The Code will continue to have a statutory role and will be applicable for England and Wales.
Sensitively-sited solar photovoltaic (PV) energy will be central to the growth of renewables in Britain, according to Energy and Climate Change Minister Greg Barker. Installed solar PV capacity has increased 25-fold since the end of 2010. The Government has recently published the solar PV energy roadmap setting out how it will work with businesses and industry “to build on this unprecedented growth”.
