Young worker suffers serious burn injuries in explosion

A & S Metal Recycling Ltd of Stourport-on-Severn, a metal recycling business, and its director, Simon Davies, have been sentenced after a young employee of the company suffered serious burns following an explosion and flash fire.

SCIP database 7 million notifications!

The SCIP database was launched in October 2020 and the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) have reported since January 2021, nearly 7 000 companies have successfully submitted millions of notifications on substances of very high concern in their products to ECHA.
