The one-question “friends and family” test (FFT), where patients are asked after each use of an NHS service whether they would recommend that service to a friend or family member, is now starting to be trialled in GP practices across England.

Developing smart cities in the UK

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills has established a Smart Cities Forum to ensure that the UK does not miss out on the opportunities offered by smart cities. The forum is to be chaired by Universities and Science Minister David Willetts and Cities Minister Greg Clark, meeting with representatives from cities, business and scientists.
