The Health and Safety Executive has updated its forms for the Reporting of Incidents, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 (RIDDOR) by moving them to a new platform to improve the user experience.

The forms updated are for reporting an injury, dangerous occurrence, in the case of a disease, report of a flammable gas incident and a report of a dangerous gas fitting.

The form will then be submitted directly to the RIDDOR database and it is possible to download a copy for internal record-keeping purposes.

Under RIDDOR, employers, the self-employed and people in control of work premises (the “responsible person”) are required to report certain serious workplace accidents, occupational diseases and specified dangerous occurrences (near misses).
