Spain, Malta and Romania have confirmed that they are accepting notification through the ECHA harmonised portal.
In addition, Spain have confirmed that they will not be charging poison centre fees.
There are now twenty- three poison centres accepting notifications through the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) portal. They are Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark. Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Slovenia and Sweden.
Some Member States have indicated that they will continue with their national system alongside the ECHA portal, these countries are Belgium, France, Germany, Latvia and Portugal.
Austria have also confirmed that ‘Duty holder can start placing the mixture on the market immediately after confirmation in the submission report that the dossier has passed the automated validation checks in the portal’.
Luxembourg have confirmed language requirements as ‘French and German’. English is only a recommendation to additionally include if submitting in German.
Belgium have also confirmed language requirements — if German is used, then English is recommended to additionally include.
