The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) have announced that their poison centre notification database is ready for Member States onboarding.

Member States appointed bodies and poison centres will have the ability to search for information relating to emergency health response. This information will have been submitted via the ECHA submission portal and will include information such as the unique formula identifier (UFI), full composition colour, pH and many other searchable entries.

The information will be available in both PDF and IUCLID format.

Many Member States are not yet ready to receive notifications in the new format, but now have the ability from ECHA to start preparing.
