The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has announced that the Enforcement Forum and its Biocidal Products Regulation Subgroup (BPRS) are preparing for their project, looking at chemicals sold online in all EU and EEA countries.

The project will look at REACH restriction, classification, labelling and packaging as well as BPR duties relevant to biocidal products sold online. The quality of safety data sheets (SDSs) will also be scrutinised.

The ECHA has communicated that preparations will run through 2019 with inspections being carried out during 2020. The report is then expected in 2021.
