Guidance for GPs on extending flu vaccination to patients aged 50 to 64 in England

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has confirmed that free flu vaccination for 11.5 million patients aged 50 to 64 in England will be rolled out from 1 December as part of the flu vaccination programme delivered in GP practices, and community pharmacies, providing cover beyond the usual at-risk groups.

GPs to administer Covid-19 vaccine in care homes

A new directed enhanced service (DES) announced this week for general practice to lead the delivery of the Covid-19 vaccination programme has specified that groups of practices will have to administer the Covid-19 vaccine to care home residents and staff, as well as to housebound patients through home visits.
