The learning objectives for trainees are as follows. By the end of the course they will:

understand the legal duties for the management and control of work at height
understand the hazards and risks associated with working at height
be able assess risks associated with work at height
be able to apply a hierarchy of control measures for safe systems for work at height
know the organisation’s policy on planning for and carrying out work at height.
