By the end of the session the trainee will be able to:
define vibration, hand-harm vibration and whole-body vibration
list the main effects of vibration on the body
understand why vibration at work is a problem.
Welcome the trainees. Outline the administrative and domestic arrangements, ie breaks, meals, fire procedures, location of toilets, smoking arrangements, messages, etc.
If trainees do not know one another, ask them to give their names and job titles to indicate the type of work they do and the sources of high vibration levels in their work environment.
