  • 30 minutes (half day course)

Objectives

  • To illustrate the fact that stress may be caused by a wide range of factors, which tend to affect different people in different ways.

  • To demonstrate that these factors rarely operate in isolation but in many cases interact with each other.

  1. Laptop/projector, flip chart and pens

  2. Handout 6 and Slide 9

Details

  • Ask all participants to write down the factors that cause them personally the most stress.

  • After, say, five minutes ask them to number these factors in order of importance: one for the factor that causes them most stress of all, two for the next and so on.
