To illustrate the fact that stress may be caused by a wide range of factors, which tend to affect different people in different ways.
To demonstrate that these factors rarely operate in isolation but in many cases interact with each other.

Ask all participants to write down the factors that cause them personally the most stress.
After, say, five minutes ask them to number these factors in order of importance: one for the factor that causes them most stress of all, two for the next and so on.
