  • 15 minutes (half day course)

  • 45 minutes (one day course)

  • 75 minutes (two and three day courses)

Objectives

  • To explore alternative methods of sourcing candidates.

  • To define what makes a successful recruitment advertisement.

Note:

Vary the amount and format of discussion to achieve the durations shown above. On a half day course reduce duration from 45 to 15 minutes by dealing with pros and cons of various methods through trainer input rather than group discussion, and by either replacing Activity 3 with Activity 4 or omitting activities altogether. On two and three day courses use both Activity 3 and Activity 4.
