By the end of the session the trainee should understand:
managers’ duties in terms of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MHOR)
the role of management in supporting the manual handling policy
the role of management in ensuring agreed systems of work
supervising employees with regard to manual handling
disciplinary action for safety offences.
