At the end of this session trainees will:
understand what actions to take on discovery of a fire in their premises
understand what actions to take in the event of the sounding of the fire-alarm
know the basic action plan for the home.
Tell the trainees that it is important for all employees to know what actions they should take if a fire breaks out, and that is the reason why fire or emergency evacuation procedures are so important. Fire procedure notices will usually be found adjacent to fire-alarm call points as well as on the noticeboards.
