This practice is fully compliant with the Government’s Child Immunisation Programme, the overall aim of which is to protect all children against the following preventable childhood infections:

  • diphtheria

  • tetanus

  • pertussis (whooping cough)

  • haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib)

  • polio

  • meningococcal diseases

  • measles

  • mumps

  • rubella

  • pneumococcal infections.

The practice will implement the Childhood Immunisation Programme as specified by the Department of Health and Social Care.
