Information, instruction and training

If your work involves the transport of dangerous goods, your employer should provide you with information, instruction and training. Training should:

  • cover basic dangerous goods awareness, detailing the fundamentals behind the safe transport of dangerous goods, including (if applicable):

    • descriptions of the classes and divisions of dangerous goods

    • packing groups and transport categories

    • containment provisions for packaging, etc
