This policy shows how the care service assesses risks of slips, traps and falls and related accidents and injuries to its service users and staff in the course of their work in a domiciliary or care home setting.
It is in line with all health and safety laws, regulations and guidance and the requirements on a care service to comply with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, particularly in respect of assessing and managing risk and the importance of always providing safe, person-centred care.
