This policy is intended to set out the values, principles and policies underpinning this care agency’s approach to meeting National Minimum Standard 18 for Domiciliary Care Agencies in Wales — Requirements of the Job. The standard requires agencies to make sure that:
all managers and staff have a written job description person and work specification, identifying their responsibilities and accountabilities
all staff have a copy of a Staff Handbook, which will include the agency’s grievance and disciplinary procedure
staff agree to adhere to the Social Care Wales Code of Conduct for Social Care Workers and will have a copy of the code
