Monkeypox — Employer Requires Close Contacts to Self-isolate Policy

Introduction

We wish to reassure everyone that monkeypox does not spread easily and monkeypox infections are very rare. Medical experts have confirmed that the chances of anyone being infected are extremely low if they have not recently travelled to west or central Africa or unless they have been in close contact with someone who has monkeypox (such as touching their skin or sharing bedding). Those who catch monkeypox are expected to make a full recovery after two to four weeks.
