Tickets for the following fixed penalty offences may be issued by the police; however, traffic wardens may issue tickets for traffic offences covered by items 1–4, 25 and 35 below.

  1. Leaving a vehicle parked at night without lights or reflectors.

  2. Waiting, parking or loading.

  3. Controlled parking zone regulations.

  4. Failure to display a current excise licence.

  5. Making “U” turns in unauthorised places.

  6. Lighting offences by moving vehicles.

  7. Banned right turns and driving the wrong way in a one-way street.

  8. Contravening a traffic regulation order.

  9. Breach of experimental traffic order.

  10. Breach of experimental traffic scheme regulation in Greater London.
