Part 1: Government Guidance

All UK governments have issued guidance to care providers on how and when service users and health and social care staff should access SARS-CoV-2 testing during the current emergency period. The key indicators to use in assessing providers’ take-up of testing are provided below, from which a set of measures have been identified to enable providers to assess how well they have been able to use testing availability and procedures to identify possible cases of Covid-19 and to act to reduce its spread.
