Dignity and Respect
5.1: I can use an appropriate mix of private and communal areas, including accessible outdoor space, because the premises have been designed or adapted for high-quality care and support
People living in care homes must retain their sense of dignity and respect in all aspects of daily living by, eg feeling comfortable about their environment and its facilities (5.1, 5.3), feeling in control of their daily lives with the care and support provided (5.2), and their needs for privacy over activities of daily living addressed (5.2, 5.4)
