expect to be briefed fully on their employer’s policies, procedures, rules and practices soon after joining a new organisation
expect a reasonable degree of support from management and colleagues during the first few weeks of any new employment.

give support to colleagues who have recently joined the organisation or department, in order to help them settle into their new roles
