It is the policy of the company to ensure that employees have reasonable access to hot food and drinks during working hours. This will be arranged through the provision of snack and drinks vending machines and/or a staff restaurant/cafe.
The company acknowledges that there are food safety hazards associated with any food service (eg contamination by harmful bacteria or growth of bacteria from poor temperature control). The company will take all reasonable care and precautions to control food safety hazards. Practices and procedures will be implemented and monitored to ensure the highest standards of catering service including vending.
