Policy Statement

This policy shows how this care home provider is implementing the requirements for the mandatory vaccination of its staff under the amendments to the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 Regulation 12 (Safe Care and Treatment).

The scope of the policy applies to care homes only. There is a separate policy for domiciliary care services where the mandatory vaccination requirement takes effect from 1 April 2022 under equivalent but slightly different regulations.
