• An employer must provide an employeethe driver or member of staff with a statement of written particulars of the key terms and conditions of employment. This must include the employer’s disciplinary procedure or refer the employee to a separate accessible document that contains the procedure. The disciplinary procedure may or may not be part of the contract of employment.

  • If a disciplinary issue arises, the employee is entitled to expect the matter to be the subject of reasonable investigation.

  • Before any disciplinary action is taken, the employee is entitled to be informed of the allegations against him/her, and to be given details of any evidence.
