Customs export entries are required for all shipments of goods leaving the EU.

Normally customs export entries are completed and submitted to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) in the UK by the freight forwarder responsible for the movement of the goods. What is a Customs Export Entry?

In the UK customs export entries are submitted electronically via the National Export Systems (NES) into the customs computer CHIEF (Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight).
