Covid-19, a type of coronavirus, is thought to spread when air droplets released from an infected person are breathed in by others. The virus has circulated globally to become a pandemic and governments worldwide have put in place restrictive measures to combat the spread. As measures in the UK are lifted, the duty to manage Covid-19 risk in the workplace falls to individual businesses, which must review their risk assessments and put in place control measures to reduce the risk to their employees and others.
