Care home providers should note that from 11 November 2021, all staff over the age of 18 years must show evidence of having been fully vaccinated with an approved vaccine against Covid-19, or that they are medically exempt. This is a pre-condition of employment, and no one should be allowed to enter the care home or start work unless they meet this requirement.
