Summary

With effect from 6 April 2020, all employees and workers are entitled to receive a written statement of particulars of employment from the employer on day one of employment.

Any employee or worker who has not been given a statement, or who thinks a statement given is incorrect or incomplete, may complain to an employment tribunal within three months of the employer’s failure to provide the statement.
