Carbon Reduction, Footprinting and Reporting: In-depth
Summary
A carbon footprint is a measure of the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted through the combustion of fossil fuels as part of the everyday operations of an organisation or the life cycle of a product.
Although there are a range of other measures such as reducing waste or carbon offsetting, reducing energy consumption and travel are the most obvious and easiest steps that can be taken by any organisation to reduce its carbon footprint.
