Summary

Cancer refers to diseases characterised by development of abnormal cells that divide uncontrollably and have the capability of infiltrating and destroying normal body tissue. As we age, DNA becomes more prone to mutation which may be caused by lifestyle factors such as excessive alcohol consumption, smoking, being overweight, or genetic issues and susceptibility.
