In previous articles Dr Tony Miller has discussed the importance of measurement to HR practitioners (March 2010).We have viewed the HR productivity dashboard and looked in detail at competence and, to a lesser extent, at performance. What has been missing so far is the link between competency, performance and the importance of reliability as a key performance indicator.
