HR and personnel professionals, managers and directors have an important role to play in relation to risk and risk management. Many of the initiatives that they may be involved with in areas such as restructuring, change and transformation, or the introduction of new business models, technologies and ways of working, can be disruptive and lead to new sources of risk. They are often in a unique position to contribute to effective risk management.
