Waste shipments plan

Exports and imports of waste are regulated under the international Basel Convention and, within the EU, the EU Waste Shipments Regulation 1013/2006. The requirements of the Regulation have been retained post-Brexit and amended by the:

• International Waste Shipments (Amendment)(EU Exit) Regulations 2021

• International Waste Shipments (Amendment of Regulation (EC) No 1013/2006) Regulations 2020.
