Those who take an interest in dangerous goods will, no doubt, be well aware that in the UK domestic dangerous goods tankers and vehicles carrying dangerous goods in bulk display an Emergency Action Code in the top left-hand corner of the hazard warning panel, and an emergency response telephone number, as seen in the picture below:
