Although widely used in general, suitable and sufficient signage, markings and posters is often an element missed out of the overall health and safety risk assessment process.

Government guidance on working safely during the Covid-19 pandemic does recommend the use of signage, markings and posters as part of the overall risk control measures to be adopted during the pandemic. However, these are not specified.
