What is the SEN Inclusion Fund?


All local authorities are required to have SEN(D) inclusion funds for children age three and four taking up early education funding in registered provision, whatever the number of hours they attend. Whilst there are no national thresholds for accessing this support and each local authority manages it differently, the overarching aim is to support local authorities to work with early years providers to meet the needs of individual children with SEN.
