We are thinking of installing solar panels on all our warehouses, and selling any surplus energy back to the grid. But I read recently that there are problems with the grid infrastructure being able to accommodate projects like this. How can we make sure this will work?

The Government has actively encouraged businesses and householders to invest in renewable energy solutions such as solar photovoltaic panels (solar PV). As well as subsidising the installation through schemes such as the Renewables Obligation and Green Deal, the last Government established the Feed-in Tariff, which enables small-scale generators of renewables to supply the grid and receive an income.
