.As you know, employers are legally required to must carry out risk assessments of their work environment and processes. They are also required to review the assessments to ensure they are up to date and reflect any process or workplace change.
Failure to do so will leave organisations liable for fines based on the amount of business done that year.
So how often should you carry out these assessments?
Neither the law nor guidance from the Health and Safety Executive specify how often you should review your risk assessment. However, they do lay out the circumstances under which they should be reviewed.
