We are looking to hire some new LGV drivers and have one applicant who would be suitable but he hasn’t driven professionally for the last six years and has let both his category C driving entitlement and his Driver Qualification Card (DQC) lapse. Is there a simple way for him to reinstate these qualifications or does he have to take the full category C test plus the Driver CPC modules?
