Our organisation has employees who, as part of their work function, must enter the domestic properties of our clients. What procedures should we be following in relation to Covid-19 secure guidelines?

There are many employers who, as part of their work activities, require employees to enter domestic premises. This could include service engineers, medical and care workers, social workers, and teachers on initial home visits.

Employers have a legal duty to protect any employee who is a peripatetic worker and this is recognised in the Covid-19 secure guidance being produced by the UK administrations and trade associations.
