What is the latest guidance on care home visits in England?

The latest guidance on care home visits in England can be found in the Department of Health and Social Care publication Guidance on Care Home Visiting. The updated guidance applies from 8 March and introduces a new “single named visitor” scheme which was promised by the prime minister as part of his “roadmap” out of the lockdown which started in January 2021.
