As global pharmaceutical companies progress their research and development of vaccines against Covid-19, the JCVI, the Government’s independent advisory body has produced revised guidance which outlines priority groups to be vaccinated.

The updated interim guidance for coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines published on 25 September outlines an initial framework with forthcoming advice and foundations for a national Covid-19 vaccination strategy as soon as a vaccine becomes licensed for use in the UK.
