As global pharmaceutical companies progress their research and development of vaccines against Covid-19, the JCVI, the government’s independent advisory body, has produced revised guidance which outlines priority groups to be vaccinated as soon as a vaccine becomes licensed for use in the UK.

The updated interim guidance for Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines published on 25 September. outlines an initial framework with advice and foundations for a national Covid-19 vaccination strategy.
