All our drivers carry the Instructions in Writing (IiW) document as per the legal requirements. How can it help in the event of a spillage?

A

The carrier of dangerous goods must issue Instructions in Writing (IiW) (transport emergency card) which specifies the emergency procedures required for the dangerous substances in question as well as personal and vehicle equipment. The carrier must ensure that all equipment necessary to complete these procedures are provided on the vehicle.

The Instructions in Writing and ADR specify the equipment that must be carried on the vehicle. Namely;
