Will care homes be forced to accept Covid-19 patients from hospitals this winter?

In an attempt to free up NHS beds to protect the health service from being overwhelmed this winter, and prevent a second crisis in care homes, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is hoping to create 500 Covid-19 secure care home facilities by the end of November 2020 for people being discharged from hospital.
